Youth Leagues - 2009/2010 Session

You may roster up to 16 players for a league

First place league winners (under U14) receive Soccer Centers T-Shirts

$ 200.00 deposit required to secure spot. Balance due at the start of the league. If not paid in full after week 2, extra charge of $75 will be added to total of balance due. Register by phone 732-748-GOAL (4625)

There will be a maximum goal differential of 5 per game, this will be reflected in the standings.

State Sanctioning

All players are required to be carded through NJYSA. If a player does not a have a player pass they may buy one at Soccer Centers for $10.00. A birth certificate (copy) will be required. If you are an out of state team, be sure you request Permission To Travel Rosters for indoor winter leagues may consist of up to 16 players. Soccer Centers games are 7v7 including a goalie.

All Soccer Centers Tournaments are sanctioned by the NJYSA. All coaches must provide a team roster and a state pass for each player, (players may purchase a state pass at Soccer Centers the day of the tournament or league for $10.00 each. Proof of age is required in order to purchase a pass).

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register a team for a league or tournament?

You can register online, over the phone or step by at Soccer Centers and we will be able to help you out.

To secure a spot in the league you need to pay a deposit of $200.

Tournaments need to be paid in full when you register the team.

Do I need player passes for a league?

Yes, you do need player passes. We accept NJYS and US Clubs passes. At the beginning of the league you hand in a roster and one of our employee�s will check and make a copy of the player passes.

What if 1 of my players doesn�t have a valid pass?

Indoor passes can be purchased at Soccer Centers; you need to bring a copy of the birth certificate and $10. These passes are valid at every indoor facility in NJ during the winter.

How many players can I put on my roster?

Adult teams may roster up to 22 players at the start of the league. Youth teams can roster a maximum of 18 players.

Do I need to submit a roster when my team participates in a tournament?

Yes, we always need a roster. We also check the passes before the tournament starts.

3v3 tournaments are the exception on the rule. You only need to submit a roster and you can roster up to 6 players.

When is the rest of the balance due when my team is registered for a league?

Remaining balance needs to be paid at the start of the league (week 1).

When will the schedule be out?

Definitive times for the first game of a league will be posted on the website a few days before the start of the league .Times for the subsequent weeks will be posted after the first game

Tournament schedules won�t be posted on the website. You�ll receive a call before or on Wednesday to let you know what time you�ll be starting that weekend.

How long are the games?

All Youth teams play 40 minutes games (switch at the half) in a league

Adult teams play 50 minutes games.

Length of games during the tournaments depends on the set up of the tournament.
Check the tournament description for the right answer.

Games during a 3v3 tournament are always 20 minutes.

Do we need to pay the referee?

Teams playing in a league have to pay the referee (referee fees are not included)

Youth teams pay $10 per game per team
Adult teams pay the referee $15 per game per team

Check the tournament description to find out if you need to pay the referee or not.
